I use a blend of proven, compassionate therapy methods to acknowledge the person that you are on every level – body, mind, and spirit – and help you break free from addictions.

  • Person-Centered Therapy – Together, we’ll uncover your emotions and thoughts, focusing on your strengths and unique path forward.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – We’ll work to change the thought patterns that fuel addiction, replacing them with healthier ways of thinking.
  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) – Understanding how your body holds onto trauma can help release the tension that addiction often feeds off.
  • A Mix of other Therapies (Inner Child Work, Parts, Reparenting & Grounding) – Depending on the client and their circumstances, I sometimes draw from an eclectic mix of other modalities in a trauma-informed way. These may include inner child work and reparenting, parts therapy, and grounding visualizations. Healing your past emotional wounds helps you make choices that align with the future you want.

Can you help with things like gambling or internet addiction?

While addictions come in many forms and people are all different, the dynamics lying beneath the surface are predictable and changable. Whether it’s substance use or behaviors like gambling, I help you understand what is driving your addiction so you can find healthier ways of coping.


Is everything in counselling kept private?

Confidentiality is my number one priority. Everything shared in session stays between us, creating a space where you can be open and 100% yourself.
