Trauma creates a disconnect from ourselves and others
Unhealed past wounds, particularly those experienced during early childhood, physically alter our brain’s neural networks. Our coping abilities become less flexible, making it difficult to move through the world with ease and confidence and holding us back from becoming all that we are meant to be. However, healing is possible. By processing old stuck emotions, in the context of a safe environment, we can shift how we experience ourselves, others, and the world. We can then adopt healthier patterns of thought, emotion, and behaviour, opening new doors to growth and wholeness.
I offer a compassionate space for individuals and couples navigating difficult emotions like anger, anxiety, depression, fear, grief, guilt, loneliness, low self-worth, and shame. Together, we can reignite your inner strength and foster meaningful change toward a better future.
MODALITIES
I offer talk therapy with a compassion-based, person-centred approach.
This is drawing from a blend of modalities such as somatic experiencing, inner child work, parts therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and guided visualizations. Your comfort and preferences guide our sessions, and I walk alongside you on your healing journey, offering tools and perspectives that align with your needs.
Our work together will evolve based on your unique process and personal inclinations, ensuring that the path we take is meaningful and supportive at every step.
