At Katya Coad Counselling, I work with individuals and couples overwhelmed with negative emotions and feeling uncertain how to navigate life and relationships. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, healing from past trauma, or simply seeking to growth and balance, I offer a safe space to explore your inner world from a place of curiosity and compassion. I use a relational and somatic approaches to help you connect more deeply with yourself, your loved ones, and the people and world around you, helping you move forward with more clarity and confidence.
You don’t have to face this journey alone
Our current experience is shaped simultaneously by limitations caused by old wounds and personal resources and strengths. To move forward effectively in the world, we need a safe relational space where we can begin to unblock stuck emotions while simultaneously strengthening our ability to tap into our own innate resources. I use a blend of Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) to walk alongside you on your journey, supporting your healing and helping you reconnect with your own inner wisdom. Together, we will build increased emotional resilience and reroute old patterns in new directions that facilitate better outcomes.
